Bruce West

Bruce established BWT Management Development in 1991, he is an Independent Management and Personal Development Consultant. He manages training events both in Britain and abroad.

He has been involved in developmental training since leaving the Royal Air Force in 1986. The foundations of his style of delivery arise from his understanding of how relevant experiences can provide empowering personal developmental training when combined with theoretical workshops.

Bruce is interested in the way managers and team members can improve their personal managerial effectiveness. He develops clients communication skills so that they are able to deliver themselves with confidence when in the many different situations that they find themselves. His natural ability to quickly establish rapport, enables him to lead people through developmental processes with confidence and safety.

Bruce delivers training to a wide spectrum of businesses, management teams from all levels and on a one to one basis. As a member of the British Psychological Society for Occupational Testing, Bruce is qualified in the use of the Myers Briggs and CPI questionnaires, which complement his facilitation skills during recruitment workshops, client needs analysis, programme design, programme development and delivery as well as subsequent follow up work.

His aim is to enable people to achieve more than they ever thought possible, is obvious in the energy and commitment that he brings to his work. He gains satisfaction from enabling people to achieve improvements in their management of self and others.

 

How we deliver.

BWT delivers specific training programmes, requiring a close working relationship with our clients. We ensure appropriate development targets are established and addressed using the most suitable style for each occasion.

BWT provides people management assessments for business and delivers appropriate training programmes to develop the effectiveness of peoples interactive skills. BWT works with all levels of management, with established and newly formed teams and on a one to one coaching basis.

BWT uses a combination of appropriate theoretical workshops, relevant questionnaires and practical project management. BWT provides training that requires the participants to be involved in the process of the programmes, working in an accelerated learning environment so participants can fully relate to the personal learning that is available.

BWT operates training programmes throughout the UK and overseas. Delivering from company premises, educational establishments and hotels. BWT believes that training must be delivered in the most cost effective manner for individual businesses so that they are able to fully benefit from their peoples development.

BWT provides a post training service, ensuring that the benefits resulting from businesses involvement in peoples skills training are fully employed on delegates return to their place of work. This is achieved via one to one coaching, group interviews and the constant re-evaluation of relevant operating practices.
